Soaring above the earth!

Summer Camp goes to space!

We will be offering an exciting summer camp experience for 30 elementary and 30 middle school students this summer. Mister Fred Wilson, a NASA certified teacher will lead these camps as these students learn the physics of space. The five-day camps will be half-days with elementary students attending in the morning and middle school students in the afternoon. The first summer camp will be the week of July 11-15 and the second the week of July 18-22. Each student will build a rocket which he/she will launch on Friday. Since we have limited space, please register your child early so they don’t miss out. You may register on this web site at Contact Us with your name and contact information. Tell us if your child is an elementary or middle school student and give us your contact information. https://www.thelccontinuum.org. https://wwwfsd3.org.

Our Challenger Space Camp will honor the legacy of our hometown hero, Dr. Ronald McNair, a NASA astronaut. His life was one of rising above the challenges and reaching for the stars. His history of accomplishment is an inspiration to us and to our students. We hope to inspire these 60 students to strive and reach even higher. https://www.ronaldemcnairlifehistorycenter.org
